Alyssa and I took a road trip out to Emerald Pools for her senior photos! The river was torrential and the views were spectacular. We hiked around and explored some really beautiful locations to take this photo series!

AUSTYN + ELIJAH
The morning of our scheduled engagement shoot, I got a phone call from Austyn, my beautiful bride to be. "Have you seen the forecast?", she asked with concern! I couldn't have been more excited. We pressed on and made our way out to the massive dunes of Sand Mountain in the middle of nowhere, Nevada.
Tumble weeds were rocketing off the dunes and carried away in the vigorous and steady winds. The sand blended with the air, with no clear divide between them at times. And then we have Austyn and Elijah, marching into the distance dressed to the 9's. These two couldn't take their eyes off each other, and I couldn't either. Here's what I saw.

Theres a certain magic in the air at Twenty Mile House. The massive pine trees wrapped in string lights, the antique buildings scattered throughout the property, and the Rose colored smokey skies made the photos even more astonishing. Laura and Alejandro had such a beautiful wedding day, it was so hard to pick my favorites. The details, the laughing, and the scenery were to die for. The flower girls were the most beautiful flanking the handsome little ring bearer. And of course, Laura didn't escape the eyes of anyone in any room she was in. Reflecting on the day, I couldn't think of one tiny thing that could have turned out better. Everything was simply perfect.Here's the story of the 2nd of September.

I shot Tom + Ashley's engagement photos on the chilly and wind stricken playa of the Black Rock Desert! The second we got out of the car, we realized we were going to need our secret weapon: Irish Whiskys. Suddenly, we were running around full speed on the playa shooting the most amazing photos. I gave almost zero direction with these two, everything was simply naturally beautiful. Then we decided impromptu hot springs sounded like a great way to enjoy the sunset-- champagne in hand, no less.

If you have never made your way out to Joshua Tree National Park, trust me, do it.
There is a calm serenity that encompasses the land. Its simplicity is truly remarkable; huge rock formations and Joshua Trees are scattered as far as the eye can see. The gorgeous sunsets are inevitable, and something special!
I met Joe and Samantha earlier this year and could feel the adventurous spirit radiating from them the second I said hi! Plans quickly culminated and we found ourselves road bound to discover this amazing national park. Our trip was jam packed full of surprises, tow trucks, and truly amazing discoveries. We left with full memory cards, and new friendships that I will treasure endlessly! Here's the beginning of the wedding story of Joe + Samantha:
